Daydawn acknowledges that safeguarding is a shared responsibility prioritising the care, protection and best interests of children and adults at risk.
By providing a safe environment, actively identifying and managing risk, and complying with the Safeguarding policy, guidelines and legal obligations, we uphold human dignity as the foundation of our faith.  We aim for our agency to be safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
Our Agency is committed to implementing the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards (NCSS).  We annually undertake a self-assessment (Safeguarding Activities Assessment Tool – SAAT) to continuously improve and monitor the implementation of the NCSS.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, the Wadjuk people of Noongar Boodjar. We recognise their continued connection to the land and waters of this beautiful place, andcknowledge that they never ceded sovereignty. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations people who seek support from our service. Always was, always will be.
